Question

Does anyone know what a sensible boost target would be from a MY98 I have a standard ECU, K&N and a full stainless exhaust. I don't want to blow up my engine by running it too lean with too much boost, how does the dawes air/fuel meter work and what is the easiest way of keeping an eye on the mixture?.

i am currently running 1.1 bar held in gears 1-4. fuel cut jumps in in 5th if i floor the throttle. make sure you have knocklink, afr/lambalink and an accurate boost gauge. if you run with a fuel cut defender you might be able to squeeze a bit more out of the dawes. i use super unleaded (97RON) with 100ml of NF per tank and i experience no det.

Hope this helps

cheers
