Having decided to add a Tek3 to my mota, i was wondering bout pops and farts
My car at the mo runs a K&n 57i, forge VTA and full Magnex decat. It does pop and fart (a bit) but it doesn't seem to do it as much as other peoples cars with similar mods I was wondering with the Tek3, will i be poppin and a fartin more?

Can't say about the Tek but a mate has just had his link mapped and that got rid of the pop's and bangs.
Apparatly it will only P & B when the fueling is incorrect and mapping it sorts that out.
P.s. I'm no expert - its only what he told me.
Another P.s. He also said it was the best mod he'd ever paid for.

 

i still get pops and bangs with my tek. maybe not as many as before but they are certainly there.

Ask the mapper to retard the timing on feathered throttle - they did it for me and it pops 'n' bangs like a bag of microwave popcorn (only slightly louder!)

 

My car is also quieter since I fitted the Link, good job really, it was getting embarassing!
