I have currently just purchased a UK spec 98R Scooby turbo with 55k and FSH, which has a s/s exhaust on it, but thats about it!

I really want to increase the power to about 260-280bhp sometime in the near future.

The questions I am asking are:

- What mods do you recommend for this (without going stupid with the money)

- Where is a top good value modding place (I live in the north west of England so local would be good)

- How much would the mods cost (any places do combined kits to get say 260BHP+).

Thanks in advance guys and you will be hearing a lot more from me in the near future.

Cheers,
Sc00bs

You'll need a full catless exhaust (£250 from For Sale depending on what you already have on it - full system?), boost gauge (£30), knocklink with sensor (£140) and a boost controller (£50-350) or ECU replacement (£xxxx). Look at the dyno site for a range of modifications and their results....

Cheers mate. It has got a scoobysport back box and centre pipe on it (replacing one centre cat).

The dump valve and boost guage are really just non performance enhancing extras I guess. As for the other stuff,

-A knocklink with sensor??? what is that?

- What is a good boost controller to use?

- An ECU is just a replacement chip yeah?!?!

Also, what PSI do std Scoobs run at and what is safe to turn it upto with the ECU/boost controller?

Cheers,
;-)
