MM - changing the downpipe will make quite a difference as Dave suggests (the centre and backbox are changed as part of the PPP), for good measure add an ITG panel filter this should add an additional 5bhp or so and a nice induction roar

Cheers

PS Adding something like Leda B suspension will make your car much quicker as will a big brake conversion, Prodrive or AP for example (especially on track) ...

monstermunch (god I used to like pickled onion flavour)

02 wrx ppp, want more power just a little.....

Advise to change the upipe & downpipe also adding a cel check light fix.

May also look to replace the backbox for a straight through system.

Typically from that you'll get 28-33 bhp more.......

If you wanted more then look for an ecutek, & a few other bits

Someone might know the answer to this, In changing the downpipe or doing a full de-cat do you need to do any amendments to the prodrive mapped ECU?

Also will it do anything to PSI? and I've heard that there's issues with the sensor not being able to read the flow in time, hence knocking on the engine light?

Anyone confirm this and what the fix is please

Cheers

No changes needed; when decatting the ppp car, you will throw a check light usually "Cat Below Threshold."

The cel fix tells the ecu that everything with the signal is fine.....therefore not throwing the error code for the specific related problem.

It does not affect anything else
