Is there a difference between a sensor on a 99 UK car and a 99 import.
I am assuming that the sensors would be the same and the ecu would change the fuel/air settings in accordance with the data recieved and the way its mapped or am I way off the mark.

Curious tho if thats the case wonder why have I been told the one for my car is only available from japan, standard car with no mods.

POC was asking that question recently too. AFAIK, the answer was Yes.
