Hello just had a run in a 1995 Wrx import with a Air Flow Conditioner system box placed in the bottom of the center console what does this box do it has 4 adjustment dials on the front? Not seen this before

It controls fuellling by altering the MAF values at the ECU.

IIRC each **** adjusts fuelling up and down for a set RPM point.
Ie **** one 2k rpm
**** two 3.5k etc etc
