Hi All
Well I finally fitted a boost gauge and.....
It peaks at 18psi.... is this right
It is a Nomad Racing gauge I bought together with the A pillar pod
I also have , ITG panel filter, HKS system from down pipe back (downpipe and uppipe are OE) and Forge atmo DV.
All the best
Pete
PS was same with standard DV.

Find a private test track and get upto speed in 5th gear. Boot it and watch the gauge. Does it drop down from 18 or is it 18 held?
My car would peak at 16 on a cold day, but if i watched the gauge, it would drop back towards the 13.7 target after a few seconds.

No it is not 18 held.
It would appear to be 15psi held.
What happens is, I floor it and the boost hits 18psi then holds at 15psi.
Is this boost spike or just a cheapish gauge issue.
Have I any need to worry.....
