Have a WRX MY96 wagon and the rear wiper stopped working.
Checked all fuses - OK
Replaced motor with 2nd hand one - still not working!
When you turn the switch on the steering column get a click on/off but no movement of blade.

Any suggestions?

i had this probelm, try earthing it out either at switch end or at motor,i'd check the relay, you can hear this click, but what i found with mine was when i removed stalk,i removed the cover that goes over the pcb part and i had somehow blown a wire on the board, obviously the earth one because when earthed out the wiper worked,a quick bit of soldering(careful not to damage the board}and now works fine.
