Question

Anyone else notice how smelly the clutch gets? I don't mean on full launch either. I reverse up hill to park at work and boy is it embarassing the car stinks.

Just a thought

I used to get smelly clutch all the time.

my locaL Subaru delaer had a look-see and couldnt find anything wrong, its still smelly but now only when driving the car onto ramps for modding no longer generally out and about.
did get awfully embarressing though.

I'm afraid its the composition of the clutch lining since the use of asbestos was outlawed. So even the slightest hint of "slipping the clutch" will produce such nasty smells these days.
