ECU Reset Plugs
#1
Does anyone know where I can get a set of ecu reset plugs and sockets? The black and green ones under the dash. I find I'm resetting the ecu quite frequently and am fed up with taking out the lower dash panel every time.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I just mounted a pair of "security protect" push switches on a panel to the side of the lower dash surround, and spliced them into the existing read memory and test mode wires.
The switches have little flip covers on them so no chance of accidental activation, while the whole thing can be put back to standard quickly when I sell the car.

Thanks greasemonkey That sounds like the sort of set up I had in mind but better I imagined 2 pairs of sockets with a removeable connecting wire between, I didn't know about security switches.
The reason for asking about the matching fittings is because the connectors are burried high up on short cables and I'm worried about splicing into them. I've since found that 1/4" spade cons fit so will use those.
Cheers
