Question

Im going to change my M3 EVO for a Y/51 plate bugeye scoob-i miss the driving experience of the scoob(used to have MY98 6 months ago)- Is there any pointers to look out for on the bugeye's?????

No piston slap issues evident with these (yet!). One thing that does spring to mind - and I've never owned an MY01 car so speaking from slightly hazy recollection here - is a fault on some rear struts that can result in them leaking/squeaking, so listen/feel for odd noises and handling when you test drive, and have a look round them before handing over your cheque.

As mentioned, I've not had first hand experience of this issue so best to check with some '01 owners before taking what I've said as gospel!
