hi all...
as the header says im looking for someone to look after a jap import 5 door turbo for me.
Also for views from the group on the vehicle im planning on getting....its a gravel express (jap model precurser to forester - raised suspension 4WD bullbar / wheelcarrier HORRID wheels :-( )
Its a 97 car (been sitting in Eire for a year!) showing 600km and in perfect nick...
Im planning on swapping oil early (on collection)(i know should be 1000 miles...then again at a 1600 km)
Otherwise a nice set of 16 inch alloys will be fine - ill leave the ride height as is due me being a bit of a farmer... :-)
Ive seen on here how to sort a tidy looking fog light (rear cluster) and now could do with info on costs and availability of different options on speedo stickers / switching to miles...as the motor has done nowt yet w=switching to miles is prefered...dependant on cost - is this widget in the cable as simple and cheap as it sounds?
eeek hope i havent asked too much for one go...
will be ringing round for some insurance tomorrow (hate it) i imagine this is going to be even worse thn insuring the cossy....
'any disabilities sir?'
'well yes i have a wooden leg'
'erm' ... 'we'll call you back' :-)
will get there in the end...
BTW how much you reckon is a fair price for this motor..
in British racing green over silver, 600 km, will be P reg (1997) AUTO! (i know you're all hating it already...but so much easier (and more reliable) for me than all those bloody spakker controls i have on a manual!
look forward to some responce (speeeling?_
bye for now
unclebob (finally DE-LURKED :-)

Hi,
I've seen a similar car for sale on an Irish web site,
http://homepage.tinet.ie/~artie/m17119-3.htm
List of all subaru's for sale :-
http://homepage.tinet.ie/~artie/carssale-subaru.htm
The price was £12,750, same colour, also new and auto box.

There's a company called Autotek in Barnoldswick - oops Lancashire......
They're one of the first companies i ever saw importing greys as they are a rally preparation outfit, and i would guess they would be capable of servicing etc.
Their phone number used to be 01282 850124 or 0468 730636 (mobile) but that was a while ago... They often advertise in the back of Motoring News.
p.s. I bet the kickdown's awesome.....
