Dear sirs,
I'm about to fit manual boost controller from GBE to my legacy Gt my92 and I have some questions about that for you.
My car is running standard 0,8 bar boost pressure but I get those readings in higher gears when booting it. At part throttle with constant speed 160kp/h I'm getting 0,1 bar. Now here is the question; what boost would I read with MBC (I plan to set boost not higher than 0,9bar)? As it stays closed (and so does Wastegate) I would suspect it would be somewhat higher. Is this the case? If so what boost can I expect at 160kp/h? Engine load would also be much higher and engine can go lean. What % of CO would be Ok to get at part throttle to be on the safe side?
I'm also interested what is the case with different restrictor size on MBC and violent part throttle response?
Many thanks for your answers!
Regards,
Kristijan
