Come to switch my alarm off and Nothing - Had to open it manually and turn the key in ignition - once turned I could press the button and the alarm stopped. Now I have to lock the car with the key and I dont think the alarm is working. Any Ideas anyone?? My local dealer has just closed - Fooking Typical!!!

Oh and My spare key dont work either so that rules out the battery.

Had you got your mobile phone on your person at the time? Or were you using it, as the alarm systems can often be "spooked" by such signals, same as if parked too near to a building amassed with communication aerials, yet again, similar problems will occur. it seems to be a common thing with Sigma alarms on scoobs.
the spare remote may not of worked due to not being in "current use", as each time you press the remote, the code "rolls over" to another slightly different one, so perhaps a few more presses and it may of worked and "caught up" in effect.
