Have now had my MY99 for about 5 days, and I have two questions.

First, my side lights are stuck on, even with th ignition off. The only way I've been able to turn them off is to pull the fuse. Any ideas, as I cannot get to my dealers for a couple of days.

Also, I have the Prodrive suspension, and when I shut the doors, the car 'wheezes' from the front drivers side as the suspension absorbes the shock of the door closing. I'm sure it didn't do this before today, but is it normal? It also seems to squeek when driving at low (<20Mph) speed.

John,

The sidelights, there is a switch on top of the steering column, this swithces the parking lights on, switch it the other way and they will go out.

The suspension thing, I dont know mine hasnt got Prodrive suspension on it.

Yep, ians right. Its the top switch on the steering colum. I work at an auto parts store, and I have customers that dont know what that does, and they are frustrated because they have been running the battery down, and causing Undue stress. All of the subarus pretty much after 1992 have this feature. (though the legacy had it in 1990.)
