Thumbs down

Just got back from a two an a half week vacation and my new scoob [six month old sti8, bought one week before i went on holiday] wont start.!!!
the key fob button did nothing, had to open car with key itself, no flashing alarm light inside dash, dead as the dodo, im very pissed, my sister tells me there have been some freeses lately, think its just the alarm and cold have drained the battery ??
forgive the muppetish question, im jetlagged and pissed off i cant drive me scoob !!!! im hoping a trip to halfords and a battery recharger will solve prob !!

There have been a few STi 8's with similar problems after being left for a period of time.

I also seem to recall that the dealers are replacing teh batterys under warranty.

Give Subaru Assist a call, rather than boing out and buying a battery charger, they can probably get you started and then take it for a run to get some power nito it, much more fun than waiting on a battery to charge!

But I would imagine that a quick call and visit to the dealer will result in them replacing it for you under Warranty. There are several threads on here.
