I have a 98MY Turbo and have noticed that the clutch has started to slip. As the car has only done 14.5K miles, I am a little bit worried about the length that it has lasted! Can anyone tell me: -
- What sort of Clutch is it, e.g. Hydraulic, Self Adjusting etc.
- If it's not covered under warranty, what sort of damage to my wallet am I looking at?
- Would it be worthwhile, getting an uprated clutch instead?

Thanks
Andy

Sorry I can't answer those questions but woud be interested in the answers !!
Not sure if my clutch is on the way out or not.
It has been fine not slipping, biting 3/4 of the way up right amount of free lay etc.
BUT the other day 4 adults and luggage in car
tried to do a 3 point turn car came so gave it loads of revs dropped the clutch and we sat there moving very slowly with the engine racing.
let the engine die back down selsected 1st again pulled away normally and all was fine.

No problems since . even on fast starts.
any one had this happen ?
can the car just simply overpower the clutch making it slip or is it knackered??

back to the qestions above.
