I am in the process of having one fitted at the moment, but as other problems with the car have been discovered, I may not get the car back until next week. Can let you know then. Power + Engineering are supplying and fitting for £145.

I was quoted £145 from Falkland Performance Center. They are dealers for Blitz and Magnex, had the backbox fitted last week and had a look at the filter, it looked a nd felt good quality, but I'm no expert! I may get it fitted this week.

The most important thing about any filter is making sure that it filters to a minimum spec of 10 microns.
I know of a number of air mass sensor failures from cone filters that fail to meet this spec. Air mass sensors are over £200 to replace!!!

I have a Blitz stainless steel cone fitted to my MY96 Sti wagon. It was fitted by PE at the time I had my remap and so its difficult to quantify the improvement. All I can say is that it looks great under the bonnet. It does not sound intrusive under normal driving loads. If you like to hear the dump valve "dump" then this is for you but its not excessive noise. No more worries about oil contamination and filters dissapearing up inlet pipes !! Expensive at £145 ... yes but it really fits well and, as I say, looks and sounds just right for me.
