Is it like you have turned the key off for a split second ?
If it is it may be that you're suffering fuel cut due to overboost.
Boro wrote a good thread about overboost here
Probably would help if you gave details of the model too.

Turn your Caps Lock off. Tends to get on peoples' ****.

Overboost is often caused by an overfill of engine oil finding its way into the boost control solenoid, so this would fit in with your having the car serviced recently.

You could probably sort this out yourself by cleaning the boost solenoid - just do a quick search on here for instructions. If you got the car serviced at a main dealer though, it might be worth taking it back there and doing a bit of a bitch 'n' moan, as they may sort it out for you.
