Has anyone tried the antilift kit from MRT Rally ?
They claim that it reduces front lift during acceleration and adds positive caster which, if I have correctly understood, provides the benefits of negative camber with reduced tyre wear.

I have the anti lift kit fitted to my 94WRX. I fitted it to help cure the understeer, and it has worked. Tyre wear is no different to before as I still run near enough standard setting (0 Toe etc). Easily fitted by mechanic, he only charged two hours labour, and that included both front and rear anti roll bars (both from MRT). Has much improved the handling.

Am I right in thinking that the STi V, MY 99 WRX and MY 99 UK don't really benefit from the AL kit?

I think I read the lift problem has been fixed by Subaru - on the MRT site a while ago.

Do not fear BPM is proud to have the product available for you on the UK right now. Our official launch is August the 7th but the product is too good to be kept secret.
Anti Lift Kits available now, they are amazing, Prodrive is actually looking at purchasing them from us.Email me if you require how they work, but I know for a fact they do especially when you get over the magic 320HP.

No Possum Bourne still utilises it on his MY99 and all other serious WRX fans will find the anti lift kit useful and excellent value for money.
Start increasing your HP and you will see the benefits it brings.

Is expencive but cool handling ....... Company In Japan call PROVA do have it.

Hi,

I've been e-mailing with MRT recently and plan to buy a few parts next month. They are the Anti Lift kit, front/rear 22mm sway bars, and various uprated bushes. I'm looking to:
a) reduce/elimate understeer
b) reduce body roll

Comments on whether I'm on the right track?

- Colin.

P.S.

I'm not changing from the standard MY98 shocks/springs as I need to retain a "fairly" comfortable ride (new baby sitting in the back seat!)

I paid about £300 for the kit and the two anti roll bars. Carriage was about another £100 but I did want them in a hurry (3 days from Oz!) Lot cheaper than a new set of suspension (though I may do that as well!)
BPM was saying he'd be doing the kit, so you may get it cheaper from him, the carriage should be less anyway!
