What´s the correct way to get 325~350 hp?

Hi all on my first post here,
I´m going to change my chiped ibiza cupra for a subaru in the next weeks and, as usual, I have some questions.
In first place, by the moment (fingers x´d) I have no money limits to choose my car. I know that some people will say: no money limits, go for the sti! but as I have intentions to pull it up to 325~350 Hp, maibe the smartest option will be to begin from a WRX. What you say about this guys?
Things that sould be taken in cosideration: I´t will sound stupid but I hate the bigger air intake of the sti and I prefer WRXs front bumper too.
As I live in Spain I think that it will be very dificult to me, to find a quality and experienced tuning enterprise here, so the PPP´s are an option. But in this case I´m afraid that 265 hp/305Hp (for wrx and sti respectively) will be not enough for what I´m looking for. Other option (and I say it seriously) Is to trip with my scooby to England...
This is all by the moment (scuses for my crap English),
Thanks

Hi Tharoka,
As far as New Age cars go; you'll be looking at considerable hardware expense to get the WRX to this level, whereas the STi has the hardware and would just need a decat, fuel pump and EcuTek remap to get to just under your lower limit. An FMIC or water injection would be a wise idea if you'll be running hard in 30 degree plus ambients regardless.
To do same with a WRX you'll need the same plus suitable turbo, injectors and intercooler. And at this power level the brakes too....and even a gearbox before too long![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Just a thought but if you get an STI, could you not fit a FMIC to a standard WRX bumper and then fit the smaller WRX bonnet scoop. That way you get the looks you want with the power your after.

Have been far from home this weekend without PC. Thanks for your viewpoints guys. By the moment I have the intention to purchuase a sti and the PPP in order to keep on the guarantee. I hope to get enough power to be satisfied for the next tree years at least. I had thougth the idea of the wrx bonnet scoop on the sti (since I had seen on the japanesse sti c-spec -> http://www.subaru.co.jp/impreza/wrx/08/03.html ).
Sorry but... what is FMIC?
Any one knows what happens when you request the car with the PPP? do they discount the price of the changed parts? If no, I will purchuase the PPP later...

Sticky, please can you point me in the direction of the Sti owner with PPP running 350. I'd just like to know what additional bits were added for the extra 50 bhp..

Like Dazza I would like to know the extra bits of that car.
Tanks for the explanation FMIC. What about "m8"?
Any one has bought its impreza with the PPP?

I´ll finally leave it without external mods by the moment. If it is possible to me I´ll change the bonnet scoop in the near future.

tharoka,
I bought mine with the prodrive fitted, and you get the parts replaced back apart from the ECU.
No you don't get a discount if you don't want the parts!
You can get a discount if you buy the prodrive wheels and come to some agreement for the four taken off. i kept my original wheels for winter though.
