After the Cosworth debacle of years ago we were told by an insurance company that they assumed that the cars are modified and that it accounted for in the price.
However what they don't like is people not telling them.
If you talk to them, talk about torque (if you see what I mean) not power, they like torque.

Gavin, I went with NU for my Scoobysport mods, which they happily covered, by moving the car into grp 19. During the quote I asked about an ECU modification and was told no, due to the increase in power. I realise PE's mod is more of a torque increase as opposed to bhp, but at the end of the day you have to convince the broker and underwriter, who only understand chip=power. I would be suprised if you get away with it.
David, why dont you approach NU, introduce your company and product and try and reach an arrangement over special cover. It would sound better coming from the developer/seller, as opposed from a punter.
