Does the boost control solenoid still affect the car if bypassed ??

Question

Im wondering if my boost control solenoid is faulty and i bypass it with a MBC, could it still cause problems. I have blocked off those pipes with screws and cable ties

any ideas ??

No it does not affect the car any more, if it is still connected in wiring loom. In you unplug it then you'll have CEL.
