i have this very loud screacing/buzzzing/windy type noise in the cabin that comes on at exactly 98mph then stays there regardles of road speed until speed drops below 98mph the car is a 97uk turbo at first i thought it was air geting into the heater at high speed but checked all that out seems okay. i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem got to get it sorted its louder than the stereo

Its been reported on here a few times now ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
some have said they managed to sure it by removing a sticker on the underside (or there abouts) of the side mirrors and some say its the turbo bearings...
Mine does this at 5-6k revs in low gears havn't tested it at high speeds.. it didn't used to do this, therefore i doubt it being a sticker as such... most probably its the turbo working very hard![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)

It can also be the window seal around the pillarless windows making the noise if it's speed related.
What happens is, say you open the window, the seal will not push onto the window 100%, it should seal when you open and close the door, what you could try is a little vaseline on the window seal rubber, then the wind noise shoulsd stop.

LMAO at Rob Roy....
I get a wind noise at 200 kmh every time without fail and makes it impossible to speak with with a passenger. It doesnt matter if its windy or not and I have only notice it disappear when cornering to the right which makes no sense as the car is symetrical? Its an STi7 so it has no aerial and I assume its something to do with the passenger mirror ( your driver side ).
