This may sound like an extremely strange question but has anybody else suffered with vibrating sun visors?

I have a 95 WRX and I here a small buzz/vibration and it seems (I think) to dissapear when I pull both visors down slighty. Can anybody shed some light please?

hi,

I've got a 94 WRX and get a vibrating thing too, although not so sure it is sun visors. My noise seems to come from the rear passenger side. Odd thing is if I gently push the sun visor it goes away, same if I gently push the roof?

Rikki,

Maybe it is actually the roof lining that is loose. Maybe it is vibrating against the actual roof or roof bars.

If you can easily get the lining away, see if you can stuff a little padding in there, like foam or something.

Same thing affects the Nissan GTi-R's, and by all accounts is annoying.

Cheers

While we are on the subject of rattles (wrong section but what the hell) I have a couple of REALLY annoying ones on my MY00. Firstly the drivers door has a rattle at the top of the door trim by the door pillar. If you press the top right corner of the door trim it stops. Anyone know how to fix this easily as I am not too sure about taking the door trim off incase it gets even worse. I am pretty sure the passenger front door does this as well but it is hard to pinpoint due to the other annoying rattle. When driving over bumpy surfaces I get a rattle from the passenger seat. Shaking the seat while stationary seems to indicate that this noise is actually coming from the seat runners. Anyone know how to fix this??

Have to say the rattles are the most annoying aspect of the car

Hmmm, I think I've got the same rattle on my 95 WRX.

If I put my hand on the bit that holds the rear view mirror it goes away.

I think theres a quick fix article on the IWOC site, but I can't seem to find it.

Cheers

Don't post this on here!

now all the wives and female scoob owners are going to be pressing their "bits" on the sun visors.

Don't know why of course

rattles? everwhere...especially in the back on the doors, on the roof...

the car is FULL of them...that's why I got a new magnex back box and blitz induction to drown the noise :-)

...my mountain bike is built better than the impreza's interior..
