Question

What are peoples views on the above device? Was wondering whether or not to fit one to a MY00 Turbo 2000 Full decat. Would you also need a knocklink and AFR? Are they safe to use? Car needs to be used as an everyday car.

Knocklink would be a very good idea as my knocklink is much more active with the Dawes on. AFR gauge handy and a boost gauge is not a bad idea either.

I suggest you do a search on Dawes as there is a huge amount of info on here already.

Cheers
Si

Oh and yes it will make your turbo wear a bit quicker

Are they safe to use?
As already recommended, get a KL, AFR, boost gauge, and understand what they're telling you prior to fitting the Dawes.

Then, fit the Dawes, be sensible with the boost increase, and keep an eye on the KL, AFR, and boost gauge.

That's about as safe as you're gonna get it...! Definitely worth doing though.

Regards,

Ade.
