Meshing your front bumber
#3
I'm planning on meshing my bumper as well but I'm not sure what the best method would be to fix it to the bumper?
I was thinking of possibly fixing it to the existing plastic gridding (either in front or behind)using some sort of fasteners....OR
Completely removing the plastic gridding altogether.
I'd be grateful if someone could tell me how it's normally done and what to use to attatch the mesh to the bumper?
Cheers

Best to take the bumper off to do it.
Mine is a MY99 car and has a fixing bolt bang in the centre of the radiator opening below the number plate. Use this to locate the mesh. Shape the mesh on either side and you will find that the bumper when refitted will locate the mesh with no movement. Mines been fitted for 2 years with no movement or oxidisation of the aluminium. In other words looks as good as new.

Dougie you old slapper napper, it`s way past you`re bedtime. If you don`t turn the lights out and get to your bed , you won`t be going on saturday.....

If you can hang fire for a day i`ll try and dig out the "idiots guide to taking Impreza bumpers off".
It`s straightforward but loads of clips etc to come off.
