Steering lock

Do Scoobies have a steering lock?
My steering wheel never seems to lock when I take the key out, but I don't want to pull the wheel about too much whilst the car is stationary.

My UK MY99, like my old UK MY97, has a steering lock.
With the wheels straight, turn the wheel a quarter turn to the left. (So the Momo arrow points upwards, on those cars with a Momo wheel!)
Cheers

There's a very very common "feature" with the steering lock: on some cars, it's upside down...
Turn the wheel completely upside down and then within about 1/8 of a turn you'll find the steering lock.
Some dealers say that this is a warranty fix; others say that it's designed like that so you park with your wheels not straight "for safety purposes".
Have another look, and my money's on you finding it upside down

Mungo,
blackbeast has steering lock (MY94 WRX Wagon) as said by others, turn the wheel a quarter turn to left and it should lock.
Do agree with you about the left hand auto cancel thing, have noticed this myself, but have not, until you mentioned it, attributed it to the steering lock, but now you mention it, it does make some sense.
I use the sterring lock nearly every time I leave the car, especially if it's turbo timing, as this might deter someone trying to nick it, (yeah right!)
