Vehicle's Radio Key Fob
#1
Hi,
Has anyone experienced problems operating their key fob when near a radio transmitter?
After using a fuel station near a garage which has a transmitter, I could not start my car! I had to manually override it before being able to start the ignition. Not knowing what the problem was at the time, it took some time to understand what was going on.
The organisation that supplied the transmitter in question summarises by saying "The motor industry has been aware of this problem with poorly performing radio entry systems for years, predating the roll-out of Dolphin's new digital mobile communications network, and responsibility firmly rests with your alarm/entry system supplier."
I can't find any reference to this problem through the archives unless I haven't looked deep enough. Am I the only one to suffer from this?
