I was wondering if anybody knew how to De-Restrict my 93 Scooby 2 Ltr Turbo it's still showing Kmh and once it hits 180 ( 110 Mph ) it backs off and does not respond to any acceleration.

I would be grateful for any advice and how much this will cost me !!!

Wah !!!

WHat you need is a small gearing ratio converter that fits on the speedo cable, you disconnect the cable from the gearbox plug the cable in the small matchbox sized unit and the plug the unit into the gearbox.

This changes the revolution speed of the cable thus converting your speedo to MPH, you will also need to change your dial to read MPH either with a sticker of replacmenet face.

er.. OM I think u missunderstood (or I did) I think he wants to remove the top end limiter (110 mph) not convert from kph to mph.

yep.. it will do both on the mechanical speedos...

I done mine and I've not been restricted to 110mph (on private roads )

Dizzy by name AND nature after I spun my westfield on boxing day into a grass bank WHO PUTS THESE GRASS BANKS ON ROADS??! should be nice runoff areas with tyres
