wind noise

Open the door in question, and then close the window fully. Close the door.
It is a very common problem when the windows are closed when the door is closed, that they stick slightly on the rubber seals which causes the motor to stop a few mm before the window is fully closed. I have heard a thin coating of silicone lubricant stops this happening again in the future.

Hi gadge
it is a common fault on Impreza front mirrors, the mirror housing itself is adjustable. as an x sub main-dealer techy I have done a few. have now set up my own w/shop subaru4you.co.uk working in the evenings & weekends hoping that I can go it alone soon.

another quick cure is this, get a piece of insulation tape, fold in half lengthways(sticky side out),tilt mirror housing in towards car and put tape in slot, let mirror go back to position, tape will block the slot now, hopefully stopping the whistling(it worked for me anyway!!)
