Help with remaps

Hi guys,
Running a full decat and remap by Merv at PE, not sure if it was a 2 or a 3. Seems to run ok and quite happy, I then spoke to Rich Bulmer the Motec guru engine guy who works at TSL. We discussed that I should put an uprated fuel pump on and that they should perhaps look into the map and improve things. What do you think, I've already shelled out once for a remap and they want £295 + vat to do a tweak. Anyone done anything similar and would I get much difference in performance from the car (I thought Merv was meant to be pretty good?). Also they would do the calibration on the road as opposed to the rolling road setup I had at PE are there any advantages between these methods? I don't know whether I should just get the fuel pump done and forget the map work or not???
