Question

Every time I accelerate up a hill my ABS warning light comes on. I have tested my brakes after once or twice and it all seems to be o.k. and the light goes off the next time I use the ignition. It is irratating more than anything to have this glowing light on my dash when ever i go out( I live on a hill!!) Its a jap import new age WRX. Any ideas? Cheers.

It could be the "g" sensor if they still fit it,down on the drivers side chassis rail, near the bulkhead. check to see if the arrow on it is facing forwards!

Brake pads could be running low or Break Fluid level...
If both of them seem fine then it could be the ABS sensor located near the brake discs

Maybe because the cars not level the float that measures the brake fluid gets a little lower than supposed to be and gives a warning.

I have the same with the fuel level, ive got a steep drive way and if the tanks half empty when i start her up in the morning the low fuel lamp goes on.

When i back it down onto level road the warning light stops
(only to come back on after 130 miles WTF )

U can do a diagnostic on the ABS and see what fault code it reads out - might give you a clue as to whats going wrong.
