Intercooler
#1
Spending time getting the car right while the weather is C***P,
Decided my intercooler is dead I want to replace - it its an early classic - can I fit a STI (Early) Intercooler without any hassle ?
On a budget as there is 1001 other things needing done

Hi mate,
I've recently fitted an STI 5/6 IC to my 93WRX, it's a pain but it can be done...
I had too cut the TB down a little, remove some of the Air con piping to get the IC on, but the pipes back on after though...
I really is a bitch to get in but with a bit of giggery pokerry it drops in, bare in mind i bought mine already modified, it had the DV pipe mounted on the side and it was modified in some way underneath (welding)...
Cost about £250 for everything...
HTH,
John.

Cheers guys - I dont want to have to mod a new one to be honest, I might just get a decent second hand one and save for a FMIC next yr.
I just thought a V2 STI intercooler might help a wee bit - either that or get the intercooler slanted
