I have a forge vta, dont think iy makes any difference to performance or fuel.
But the noise gives me a silly grin. All my other turbo cars have had vta dumpvalves and I think its all part of the turbo experience. Even our Volvo V70 T5, Family car.

Stubsie,
Yes you can put one on. I think they do very little, unless you're runnning high boost. The don't work well with MAF based cars. Normally the released air is returned to the airbox, and metered throught the MAF. With a VTA this return is blanked and the ECU gets very confused when it soesn't pick up the dumped air. Causes rich mixture at that point. My MY99 was significantly worse in MPG when I had one. Made some nice explosions though![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Do a search, but the experts tend to say leave well alone.
