Guys n Gals
I have grinding/rattling noise that seems to kick in at about 3000rpm in any gear. Had a mechanic look at it who seemed to think it was the gears in the rev counter???
It started out being worse going round a left hand bend but now there all the time. Thought that I could feel it vibrating through the steering wheel though not sure if it was just me imagining it!!!![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Any Ideas
Thanks

PS car is UK MY98 few light mods Exhaust, Dump valve, air filter etc....

There 'aint no gears in the rev counter
it's all electronic, just a meter really.
I'd have a look at your driveshafts, the outer boots are split and loose all their grease they might rattle/grind
