What size thread for 4-pot caliper bolts ?
Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!!
When changing the front discs last night, part of the thread in the caliper came out with the bolt as I undid it. I'd been cautious - Plusgas, gentle persuasion, etc.
Now, the bolt goes in finger tight but then fails to bite and goes loose again. Best option seems to be getting a Helicoil inserted into the caliper, but before I ask any locals if they can do it, I need to know what size thread I'm after.
Cheers,
Stu.

Double bugger with a side serving of damn and blast
Two different engineers wouldn't touch it for a Helicoil, so it's needed a new caliper - and you don't want to know how much they are
