Is there any point to cleaning the MAF sensor or is it better just to replace the item?... ie. is it servicable?...
I'm having slight hesitation at low rpm so was thinking of starting with the MAF sensor first - just wonder if cleaning it works, or if it should be replaced?
I have also been told to check the coolant sensor as well, how would you check that, or again is it better just to replace it?....
Anything else worth checking while I'm under the bonnet? Gonna do an ECU reset and clean the Boost Solenoid out as a matter of course - maybe change the HT leads as they're dated 1997....
This is on an MY98 UK Turbo
Thanks for any help,
Matt.

Is there any way of checking the Lambda probe? Or is this best to just replace as well? Will the CEL light up if the probe is faulty?... It went through it's MOT last week with no problems, but I'm sure it's running RICH - I guess I should wire my AFR meter up this weekend, surely that will tell me?
