Want to check the oil at the weekend, but I was sold the car without an instruction manual... Doh!....
Can anyone explain to me what the levels on the dipstick are?... Where should the oil be, and what to do if they've overfilled it!...
Thanks again,
Matt.

Always a good idea to check the oil whilst the car's been standing for a while. As a rule of thumb, the level should be about half way between min and max. If it's less than half way, top it up a tad. If it's stupidly over-filled, I'm sure a local garage/mechanic would drain some out for you, if you ask nicely
