Question TEchnical differences between type R & STI RA?

quick question

apart from the obv difference in number of doors - whats the main differences between an sti type r and an sti ra?? (assuming there of the same age)

It does depend on the year, older RA's are very raw.

Otherwise, On the MY99 and MY00, TBH not a great deal. The RA's are lightened but, then they got 2 extra doors, so I believe their kerb weight is more or less the same.

The lightening of the RA (over the Type R) consists of mainly cosmetics, such as removing the side skirts and internal sound proofing.

The performance of the 2 are more or less the same.
