Unhappy Dump Valve fitting on MY00 tmic

Right...
I need a little help here...

At present, i have a my98 tmic, and have ordered an hks ssqv..

But, i've also just purchased an my00 tmic.

Now obviously the d/valves are different fittings...
But is there anyway i can do this ?

As far as i've been told, i cant just go and buy an hks ssqv to fit the my00 top mount, as the idle control valve is in the way.

I'm really not sure what i can do...

I've looked on the jap innovations website, as they have adaptors, but they wont fit the hks

So i'm kinda stuck...

Thanks
Johnny

Keep the my98 TMIC unless there is something wrong with it and sell the my00 one?

Dont think theres any difference TBH, I done the same thing went to an STI TMIC but found out later they use the exact same cores and they are the same size, so bit of a waste of money?

Is that cos it's alloy ?

Not that it matters...as the one i've got is just a plain MY00.

We had a disscusuion about this a while back, and it was agreed that they have the same sized cores, made from the same material, only difference between them is the colour they are painted with.

If things have changed and it's been proven there are differences other than cosmetic, then fair enought, lets here it

If what you say is correct, I feel very sorry for the people who've "upgraded" from a MY00 TMIC to the STi equivalent...
