Could you give me a hint where I could buy a Knocklink (actually several, we have a possible groupbuy coming up) or equivalent for a good price?
The best offer so far is from MRT, but at almost 200AUD/unit (including sensor) the price goes thru the roof after shipping and duty costs...

Are you in the UK? I got mine in a group buy from BR Developments, and at the time paid £135 (I think)...

I paid £90GBP for the Knocklink display from Jap Innovations and £35 for the sensor/connectors from a Bosch dealer in Newcastle. Yes, you can source these parts cheaper if you look around.
Since the Knocklink is only available through authorised Link or MRT dealers, getting a good price on that is the toughest part. The Bosch sensors and connectors can be sourced from any Bosch Dealer throughout the world.
Miki,
My advice is try to source the Knocklink display locally. Are there no MRT/Link distributors in Finland? Failing that, you could always buy the display from the UK and the Bosch sensor & connectors locally.

Miki,
Bosch sensor part # is 0-261-231-006
Bosch Jettronic Connector Kit part # is 1-287-013-003
Here's a pic of the 3 seperate parts for the knocklink display.

Ozzy, that's still £125... If Miki can source for £100-£110, unless he's gonna start penny-pinching, he's gonna struggle to get much cheaper.

Miki: The price you have in Suomi is very good and you will do a lot of work to find anything as good in the U.K. You could try the States but last time I tried that route was not successful.
Try John at JandS. He does knock indicators as part of his individual cylinder knock retarder so he may be able to do something.

Thanks for your replies guys!
I just founds this thread, I guess they really are more expensive in the UK than they are here (that's a first... something is cheaper here !).
The price for the unit itself (without the sensor) is under 100USD in the states, I just sent out like 10 emails to different dealers there, let's see what they say.
EDIT: a minor correction to my post, they are not under 100USD at every dealer.... but some

Judge, I know. The point I was making to Miki was that it's cheaper to source the parts seperately.
I know people who've paid just £20 for the Bosch sensor and you can buy the connectors for a few pence from any Auto Electrical shop.
The main factor is the cost of the Link Knocklink and what is costs the local Dealers to import from Oz. Finland (and especially the US) import rates must be better than that of the UK.
I suppose if Miki's good with electronics and has a cheap supplier, her could always make his own version. There's a few circuits available on the net.

Got a couple of replies from the US, nothing to match the price we got here in Finland yet....maybe it has something to do with the fact that the guy who made us the offer is one of our clubmembers.... ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Still awaiting a reply from one company in the US who sell the KnockLink (without the sensor) for 95USD.
