Just been informed that my gearbox is on its way out,

Since i bought it there has been a constant rattle from the engine, it sounds like a loose heatshield but i have just been informed by prosport in stockport that some bushes in the gearbox have broken down?? Has anyone heard of this problem on a car that has only done 62000miles.

Also if this is the problem they want £600 just to think about fixing it!

So oes anyone know where i could pick up a gearbox for an English Turbo on an S plate, which would not hurt the bank as much?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

i use hdc subaru for my gearbox replacements.there around £450 for a recon box i have fitted about 12 boxs for various customers no probs with any.
