You have paid the best part of £27k on a car you know nothing about ?

If it's an MY03/4 then you're looking at 305bhp with 0-62 approx 4.6s. Best mods is to leave it well alone until the warranty runs out and invest in professional driver training. If you have pots of cash and can afford the repairs if the warranty is voided then there are many mods to do. Popular at the mo' is the TSL333 which will give 333bhp and 333ft/lb. Prodrive springs (or Eibachs) improve things and 18" lightweight alloys (19 if you want to pose). Add a big set of rally flaps, tints and upgrade the ICE and you've got a superb motor.

Has it been messed with by prodrive then or is it just a gimmick,250bhp doesnt seem like a lot, my wrx wagon bugeye was runnung approx 250 with the exhaust and filter done and feels as fast as f*** compared to that.
Thanks for the replies.

STi's are a different animal. Better engine components, quicker rack, better suspension, much better Brembo brakes, 6 speed 'box (resulting in compromised 0-60, but better in gear real world driving response). The bugeyes were lower powered than the newer blobeyes, and don't sell too well as they were only produced for 2 years and weren't popular (although attitudes might be changing). I have heard of one dealer selling new STi's at £20k, but realistically most pay around £23k, or £25k with PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack). With all the bells and whistles many on here put them up for between £20k and £23k, but struggle to sell them. Most spending that amount on a car prefer the security of a dealer, as well as the finance options. £18k to £18.5k is probably about right for an STi7 PPP. They were £27k new, but have suffered horrendous depreciation due to the image problem and the price reduction on the blobeyes.

Does it have the Performance pack or is it just prodrive styling?

It's classed as a wrx sti prodrive, so I couldn't tell you if it had ppp or just bodystyling. Maybe I might have rushed into it without knowing to much about them.
