Default can anyone identify this centre section

Is it a UK std centre or is an Sti resonated centre ???

Look down into the box. If its honeycombed then its a cat and likely to be UK, if it has a perforated tube going all the way through then its JDM (and not just STi).

Just looks like a straight through pipe



dunno if you can see from that pic

I take it this is a JDM centre then

I guess that the STI one, as the uk ones have that exact same box, albeit with a cat in it, and then another little silencer behind it, so therefore the uk one is different to that one, ie, yours is jap one!

You can tell its a STi mid because it only has the top heat shield on it.

And the one off my JDM Forester.
Its a common piece of kit for a range of JDM Subaru models - not a special for an STi.

My UK 96 centre doesn't have another box after it and looks identical except for a honeycomb as stated.
