Why fit something that is already in the system as standard? There is a pressure regulator in the fuel line already.
"If" you still wish to fit, then if you check on the passenger side of the engine bay, you will find a black metal cannister with some pipes attatched, try using the one marked with the "in" arrow.
But remember, all you are doing is reducing the line pressure, which will give a weaker fuel spray pattern, weakening off the fuel/ air mixture, causing it to run lean, which may lead to possible engine damage.

The whole idea of an "adjustable" fuel reg', is so that you can "increase", or reduce fuel pressure, as required.
Another point is that many cars fitting uprated fuel pumps, suffer from a very big increase in fuel pressure, because the stock reg' is too restrictive, and unable to cope with the increased fuel flow.
Lastly, I would suggest doing a search for fitting the reg'. There are some very good threads, giving the "correct" information.
I wouldn't fit the reg' on the hosing going to/from the fuel filter, since this is on the "low pressure" side, and won't work.
The reg needs to be "after" the injectors, on the "return" hose.
Mark.
