Cleaning my car up, by got it needs some tlc
Hi peeps,
Just about to buy my car and I need a little help. It is in a sorry, sorry state and needs some attention, esp the paintwork. Can anybofy suggest a way (instructions) on how to make the paintwork "ping" and look really clean. It has very little (one) tiny rust spot but apart from that the paintwork looks good.
Just need some advice on "tarting it up" a bit.
Cheers
Stuey
PS As a scooby newbie I need all the help I can get, ive never had to deal with paintwork.

Do a search for WaxWizard, he's the man to talk to.
Or buy some Swissol stuff, the best you can get.
The result is simply gobsmacking altough the products are relatively expensive, it's worth every penny, twice !!!!!
I bought a Masterkit myself and never seen anything better than Swissol.
I worked previously in a bodyshop (were we worked only on "better" cars like Porsche, Ferarri, Maserati and so on) and in that time, I never saw a finish like the Swissol finish...
Creepy

if you want to clean your paintwork when you wash it. Put about 4 tablespoons of malt vinegar in your bucket with the car shampoo and wash with that, cleans ingranded crap out of paint work and dries no smeary, i do it every wash

If you're interested in Swissol/WaxWizard products, there's a group buy going on at the moment but you'll have to be quick to get your order in.
