front bumper removal

Default front bumper removal

can any one tell me where the bolts are on my 97 uk so i can take bumper off. they are not where i would expect them to be. however i can see 4 bolts that dont apear to be holding anything. thanks.

right this is gonna be hard to explain.
1. dissconnect fog lights indicators etc.
2. remove sh"t shields (may have to remove wheels)
3. there should be 10mm bolts in the top side corner of each corner.
4. look in the engine bay and there will be 4 17mm bolts just by the lights,
remove these and the bumper should slide away from the car

i think thats it now, there might be something i have missed

Just to add to Clarky's very helpful description, the 17mm bolts are two on each chasis rail further into the engine bay from the head lights.
