After having my01 uk300 for a few months now i was thinking of doing a oil and filter change this weekend. But after me examining the engine to try and find the filter i am starting to have second thoughts as underneath seems to be protected with hard plastic and unreachable. Can any one point me in the direction that the oil filter is in and is it pretty straight forward to change.

Did mine at the weekend
If you have ramps if would help but i just used a trolly jack
You have 6 screws and 2 plastic clips to take off
The screws are 2 at front 2 at back 2 at the side
The plastic clips also fit on to the gearbox cover (take these off first)
Then the plastic guard will come off
The oil filter is right at the front (you cant miss it)

uk300 might be different

Tip! Punch a hole in the bottom of the filter and allow to drain before you remove it. Alot of oil is held above the filter and it's gonna go all over the place if you just unscrew it!
Keep topping the new filter up with oil until it won't take any more before you fit it.
