MY00 Turbo with full decat and green panel filter at the moment. The above with a Tek 3 remap would probably be looking at 275 ish bhp I suppose but the question I am asking is,
Will my car be safe, will it be able for it or is getting the Tek 3 remap making it safer?
Thanks.

Two questions there really.
Will my car be safe?
In theory, if the mapper does his job properly, and you don't do anything daft to compromise his work, then yes, it should be safe.
Will my car be safer?
Depends on how you're looking at it. You're increasing the performance of the car, so logically, no, you're not making it safer. However, if you were currently using a manual boost controller without a knocklink, or you had a JDM model and had been running it on 95RON unleaded without a knocklink, then yes, you would be making it safer...

Thanks lads...I thought in theory that my car would be safer having the ecu mapped specificaly for the decat and mods rather than running it on the stock ecu which wouldn't handle the decat as well even though I have not had any problems.
I always run on SUL and have both a Knocklink and AFR fitted and both always stay normal. By the way its a Tek3 map in question and mapper will be Bob from BRD who has a great reputation.

Bob mapped mine with a decent safety margin with det cans and a wideband afr and in real world driving conditions, so I don't think you have too much to worry about.
